Ripoff fraud business rip-off scam dirt bags liars

I bought a CDRW DRive around xmas / it had a $20 rebate from best buy and another $30 rebate from the mfg.

I sent everything in 2 days after my purchase, everything correctly.

It is March 24th so I called to see the status. They told me they never received my rebate request, both companies.

That is a lie. The girl I spoke to told me to fax it right back to her and they would see if they could process it.

So right after speaking with her I faxed all my copies to her. I have not heard a word from Best Buy. I called the Mfg Digital Reseach and guess what? They said the same thing, but the girl I spoke to there was very rude and gave me a fax # that did not even work.

This is false advertizing and they should not get away with it.

I will never buy anything from this store again. There are plenty of other stores that offer computer equip and that is where I will take my business.
