Ripoff rebate scam

COMPUSA store#287 refuses to honor $100.00 rebate. I sent in rebate form 3 days after I made the purchase of a computer on april, 20. On june, 9 I called 800-390-2344 to check on the status of my rebate. I was told that my rebate was denied because the postmark was 2 days late and that they couldn't do any thing for me and hung up when sensed I was upset.

I called COMPUSA corp. Office and spoke to a woman named Sharron who told me not to get upset and they would make things rite and emailed the store mgr. To contact me. I was never contacted, so I called the store and talked to a mgr. Who told me to come in and they would take care of me. When I arrived I spoke to the same mgr. And he told me there should be no problem and that they would honor the rebate, but first had to get the store mgr. To sign the paperwork. The store mgr. Then came out and told me unless I had the original envelope that I sent in, with the posmark on it, I was out of luck. She also told me she didn't care what Sharron at corp. Told me and if I wanted to I can talk to their staff of laywers. I told her I was very upset, and she told me to leave the building before she called the police. Now thats how you treat a customer, not!!!
