7 months before my wireless contract is up a material feature of my phone does not work.

The phone's microphone and receiver does not pick up sounds. I have to put on the speakerphone feature to listen and talk thereby obviating any privacy in my conversations.

The CSR said that since its been over a year, no warranty and no insurance since I did not buy it.

The phone should work for the duration of the contract

So it seems like I am paying for a phone that works for one year and a phone that doesn't work for the 2nd year.

Feel really cheated
