I ordered a shine slider cell phone for my son's 13th birthday in June his birthday was June 26, I repeatedly e-mailed them and finally asked them to refund my money, at which time they sent me an e-mail telling me they were out of stock and would recieve the phone when it came in.
I re-wrote them telling them I had already asked them to cancel the order and wanted a refund, I wrote several more e-mails and got no response back from them. The telephone number they provide does not get answered, and there is no answering machine. I am a widow and my son had just lost his father a few months prior to this and I wanted to make it a special birthday for him, because this is the phone he wanted.
Needless to say I never got the phone or my money returned and did not have the money to buy him a birthday present because they had took the money I had to scrape up to get that one for him.
I even wrote them begging them to refund the money so that I could get my son another phone somewhere else, explaining about his fathers death and his only wish for his birthday, and still got no response.
I am very bitter because my son was very disappointed and made me look, and feel like a failure because I could not get my son anything for his 13th birthday.
In October I tried to get them to contact me by leaving an e-mail that I wanted to purchase a phone and for them to call me for the order, explaining that I did not want to give my personal info over the internet. This time they did call me (at another name and number I gave them) and when I told them what it was really about they hung up on me. It is now November 13, and I still have not received a refund or cell phone. I would appreciate any help.
