I had purchased a Zen Nano Plus. It was off warranty for 2 weeks and I went to CREATIVE'S SITE and downloaded a Creative firmware update for my player. After the update the player locked up and no longer worked.
Several others had the same problem as evidenced by the complaints on their site. I posted my comments to their forum, and they REMOVED THEM so others could not see them.
They refused to reply to my requests for assistance and service hung up on me. This was THEIR companies upgrade, NOT a third-party site. Funny thing is I had always used their products; speakers, sound cards, etc. For my extensive computer business and personal use and bragged to others about their quality.
I will NEVER purchase another Creative product again. For personal use I had spent about 3k on their products and through my computer service company probably close to 10k. See, poor quality and service will cost you in the long run. Get an iPod or Zune... Stay AWAY from Creative!!!
