When the area code where I live changed, I was told by a Cingular Rep. That my cell phone had to be reprogrammed. After she walked me through it; I spent the next two months talking to cingular technical reps and service managers and practically everyone in the company and they had no clue on how to restore service for me.
I could not get any type of cell phone service from them on any phone, but yet they insisted that I pay each month until the end of my two year contract. They said that I was under contract to pay them whether they could provide service for me or not.
