We had an extra charge of $9.15 including taxes for a sign up fee for voice mail service. We never signed up for voice mail and even when testing our phone there is no voice mail service. We left multiple messages via phone and email with AT&T, ILD Teleservices and My Billing Guys. The woman I spoke with at ILD Teleservices was EXTREMELY rude and quick to give me another number to call with my complaint. The rep with My Billing Guys said they would refund the amount to my AT&T bill—we will see... Nothing so far and my trust level is not very high in this company after only one experience.
The $9.15 is not a huge amount. However, the time it takes to resolve a false charge like this is unreal! I am furious about the number of phone calls and emails I've had to make to resolve this problem. And I am ready to cancel any services with AT&T for getting themselves involved with ILD Teleservices and My Billing Guys. What a disappointment to loyal AT&T customers!
