I noticed unauthorized charges on my phone bill for an 8.95 monthly service fee for long distance carrier service. We rarely use our land line anymore and have very few, if any, long distance calls, so we have no long distance carrier. When I tried to contact them, I couldn't understand what they were saying, and they transferred me to a department that wasn't open. I called my phone company and they at least put in a dispute for the charges so I wouldn't have to pay until I figured out what they were for.
