I have been a half way happy customer with directtv since sept 07. It was a little rocky at first due to the first installer then i didnt recieve a bill for the first 3 months of service, i got that all straightened out as well as entered into a "free 4 months" of premium service with nfl sunday ticket. I was told to call on 2/14 to cancel this as i did on time probably a few days early. I got my next bill and it was sky high. I called and was told that it was adjusted due to me canceling the "free trial" ON TIME!!! I did get this adjusted and things have been fairly okay till today. Since my boyfriend is out of town with the guys i was going to get a paypreview when i logged on i was shocked to find my current bill was $220.49 with a $90.00 past due amount. I was really concerend with this due to the fact i paid the outstanding balance of $93.99 on 7/10 with my debt card which is on file. So i checked my bank statement and nothing from directv was there. This really concerned me since i remember the exact amount and date i paid it. So i called directv to inquire on the extremly high bill and this past due payment. My normal bill is about $90 with 4 recievers and equipment protection. Of course i have to go through the whole automated system about this past due amount till i finally hit 0 and got transfered to a rep that had such a heavy forigen accent i could barely understand. I proceided to ask about the missing payment i was on hold for about 10 minutes as he "looked" into it came back on the line and said the payment didnt go through but couldnt tell me why cant explain the different amounts due.

I questioned him about the extremly high bill and was told it was nfl sunday ticket. Hummmmmm... I dont recall ordering nfl sunday ticket i remember canceling it in febuary. I was told that it is an automatic renewl i proceeded to tell mr no speak english to good taken american jobs that i didnt authorize this and to remove it from my account immeditaly then i asked to be transfered to the complaint dept. He told me they have such a dept but no #s for them its an email system.

I believe there is alot of shady dealings going on with this company. And after reading others reports im wondering what i have got myself into... I still havent seen a bill for june or july and im not on ebill... Somethings not right i ended my converstion with directv tonight in saying they are not leprecauns or a part of lucky charms and this is far from being majicly delicious and ended the call
