Purchased a 10.2"tablet DVD player in Dec. 06. Stand on unit broke almost immediately. Called spectoniq to order or get a new stand, was told they were on b/o. This went on for 7 months of them telling me it was on b/o to we don't supply that item. Everytime I called I received a different ans and they would not give me anyone higher to talk with.
Finally in Sept of '07 they told me just to send the unit in for replacement. They recv'd the unit on Sept. 19 amd to this day May 29 I have not recv'd the replacement DVD. They keep telling me to be patient it will be in in 2 weeks, then 40 days, then back to 2 weeks.
I filed a complaint w/bbb, they never responded to that. When I spoke w/them on 4/28 I asked for my money back and the response was "We don't do that". On May 28th I spoke with them again and asked for my old unit back, but hit another stone wall.By the time I get this unit back the media will have changed and it will be worthless.
While the reps I speak w/are very curtious while they are spewing their lies, I believe this to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I am at my wits end and do not know where to go or what to do.
