On Sept. I sent my Magellan gps 360 to be fixed for a blue screen issue. It was sent Sept. 26 and delivered to the repair center on the 28th of Sept.
After one month of not receiving my GPS, I called their 1-800-707-9971, after being on the phone for a hour and half, I was told my unit was lost.
I was promised a Magellan 3140 for a replacement for my lost unit on Nov. 5th 2007. Was told by a Dan Jacobs (really don't think that was his name as everyone I speak to has a Indian accent) that my unit will be delivered within 3-5 business days.
Call on the 13th of Nov., and was told that they do not have the tracking number on their computers, but I shall receive soon. Call back in two days to receive a tracking number.
Call again on Nov. 21, Still did not have a number for tracking, but said that it was processed and I shall receive it soon.
Called 29th of Nov., was told I should receive it soon and they don't know when it will be shipped.
At that time I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, was told their was no one their to take my call. When I said it was only 1:40PM EST, and their should be someone to take my called, was told that someone will call me within 36-48 hours.
I said I was not going to wait that long and if didn't get a call within 24 hours, then I was going to file a complaint. He assured me someone will call.
24 hours later and no call.
These people have one lie after another and I do not trust anything they say right now.
I will never buy a Magellan product every again.
