Superior Asset Management - T Mobile
Rip Off Bill Collector Scam to collect money for fraudulent debts

I received a voice mail on my home phone from a disguised male voice asking me to return a call regarding my daughter. I called the number and posed as my daughter. The person I spoke with told me my daughter at age 16 or 17 had a debt that had not been paid, and they were attempting to collect it from T Mobile. I told them my daughter never had an account through T Mobile, that at one time when she was 16 they had solicited her at the mall and asked her if she wanted a free cell phone to use free for 30 days. She said yes, and took it after she gave them her personal information. I found the phone and asked her about it. She said they gave it to her to use for free, but it didn't work. I told her she was not keeping it, and I would take it back. We took it back to the stand at the Capital Mall in Olympia, WA 98502, and I told them they could not solicit a minor, we did not want the phone, and I was returning it in tact.

This is now 4-5 years later, when Superior Asset Management called to try and collect a fraudulent debt from T Mobil for $123., saying they would accept $77.00, but wouldn't tell me what the debt was for. The person I spoke with (Maya) said she could not tell me what the bill was for, and wouldn't send me anything in writing. She could only take a payment over the phone with a credit card or electronic check and only until 2:00 on this day. I called the police, and they told me not to pay anything unless I could get something in writing from them, which they refused to do. I then looked on the internet, and saw where they had tried these same tactics with other people. The woman I spoke with was named Maya, phone number 1 800 895 2989, ext 235. Does anyone out there know anything legal about this matter or this company? I would like to press charges on this person / company. If there is an attorney out there interested in my case, please contact me. Janni
