Ripoff, Case of Mistaken Identity & Failure to Comply with Law

Superior Asset Management has been incredibly uncooperative in resolving its error, which is hurting my credit. The company has slapped its account for another person by the same name as mine on my credit report.

I thought it would be simple to resolve. I disputed the matter with the credit reporting agency, Experian, and Experian sent the dispute to the Superior. I checked back, and was told that Superior validated the debt/account... Go figure - since when I callled its operators, they admit they have a different address, phone number and birthdate for the man with the debt.

But they refuse to notify Experian about this - and Experian says it won't change it without word from Superior.

So I filed a fraud affidavit with T-Mobile, and then checked with one of their agents. They said it's not fraud - because it's not - and the account is valid. And they, too, say their records show the other person to, and wonder why Superior won't correct this.

Armed with all of this, you'd wonder why Superior wouldn't just fix its error. Well, it's probably because it's agents either don't pick up - I wait longer than 45 minutes and still no pickups -, or disconnect the phone, bounce me from person to person, or say "oh, just file another fraud affidavit, " which doesn't do any good.

I've also, before being "accidentally" disconnected, asked for documents to be sent to me to validate this. But they don't send anything at all.

Superior Asset appears to be ducking, avoiding its mistake, and seemingly attempting to wear me down so I will pay another person's debt.

And all I wanted was for Superior to just open its file, realize its mistake, and notify Experian to remove this from my account. Go after the guy who owes the debt, not some harmeless victim who feels more victimized every day because of the time wasted trying to resolve this.
