I was a member of NEXTEL for 5 years without a problem.
Along comes Sprint PCS merges with them and all my troubles began.
I kept my service when they merged but then I started having mistakes on my bills and added charges that I didn't make? I changed my service contract to add 2 more phones to my account for my kids (family plan) and they sent me one phone but started charging me for 3. I called and pleaded with them that I never recieved the other phone, (which was difficult to do because I could hardly understand the person I was speaking to because they had either an Asian or Hindu accent). I could never make heads or tails as to what they were saying?
The bills kept on coming some as high as $130.00 for a phone I never got.
Every time I would call I'd get that overseas person and they'd say we'll make a report and take care of it. I was even being taxed on the phone I didn't have and they said they couldn't do anything about that?
After about 3 or 4 months of batteling with them I decided to cancel the phone services because I was getting bills close to $600 a month and now I'm being charged $200.00 per phone a total of $600.00 for terrible service and a phone I never recieved. I spoke to a supervisor and he said he had to charge me because I broke the contract.
This is a smaple of the kinds of services we the consumers are having to face because these phone companies are using overseas people to conduct business here in the US and making it very difficult to get someone responsible for mistakes and or errors that will take the time to assist you.
