Don't do business with Sprint
After 14 years of service with Sprint, and always difficult to get service from them or for them to fix things, I was stupid to continue with them because I used my phone for work. I added a line for 9.99 extra and that was after trying for more than two months, because they would not honor my plan. Then they sent an advertisement to add lines on any plan, so before porting number to another carrier, I called to add the line. One month later I called to see if they could transfer calls from one to the other so I did not have two phones, they did.instead of doing what I asked they somehow cancelled my main number. It did not show up on my statements and noticed after that my bill was huge, and when I called to see what was going on, they quickly realized they made a mistake. Their mistake has cost me my income and all years of hard work and contacts. They promised to fix it and even called the new person who they gave my number to who only had it for a couple of weeks. Then they said they would not fix this.
It took months to try and climb the ladder to speak to people in charge. When I finally got to a department at the attorney area, as I tried to explain the situation to this new person, she just started arguing with me and plainly let me know that she is not on my side whether or not they made a mistake and that she "would protect Sprint" at any cost. This was all in the beginning of the conversation. I have found that they don't care and during this they changed my plan unauthorized and I have bogus charges to me from this, which they won't fix. They did try to send waivers for me to sign off of their mistake, but won't take responsibility for the mistake and damages to me. It took for me to contact the president of the company because I asked this one person who started arguing with me that I did not want to speak to her. She told me she was the boss when I asked for her supervisor, and then I found that she did have a supervisor. They lie, and don't care about their customers.
While in dispute over all of this I only asked them to fix this. Not only did they buy time to blow me off, but during this time they sent me to collections, which is illegal during a dispute. They also sent my information to a third party collector with a private number that I did not authorize them to put in records. They got it by let me call you right back where can I call you at. Then they sent my number to others and in the account. Bottom line don't do business with them. Find another carrier, their services are not that good anyway, if you go in a store the phones in some places go to roam and charge per minute. The customer service is terrible, they not only waste your time, but then get you to speak for 20-30 minutes and then tell you they have to transfer you, because they can't help, and if you have a legitimate complaint they send you around and either disconnect you or continue to pass you from person to person and you could spend hours trying. Don't do business with them, they are terrible. Maybe another company could be the same but others use other companies and I have never heard of this. They don't care about you as a customer, so don't do business with Sprint. Don't do business with Sprint. Customers beware of Sprint.
