I recently purchased an Ultra MP3 player online from Radio Shack during the Thanksgiving season in 2007. I was enticed to purchase this MP3 player because it came with a $30 manufacture rebate. The promotion was on Thanksgiving Day and the day after (November 23 & 24). The purchase was made on November 23.
I completed the required rebate forms and submitted everything on time. I just received a postcard from Ultra Products stating that the rebate was denied because the purchase date on the sales receipt does not fall within the program dates!
This is impossible since the reason I purchased it was because of the rebate. There is no contact information provided on the postcard other than a P.O. Box address. Also their website does not have any customer service numbers. If this matter is not resolved soon I plan to report Ultra Products to the Attorney Generals Office, and the Consumer Protection Agency!
