I sent in my rebate back in March. I received my first denial that my email invoice from Radioshack.com did not have the date of purchase circled. I resubmitted the rebate with the email invoice with the date of purchase circled in April. I did not hear back from the Onrebate.com company. There was no status change on their website. When I called back on July 10th, they said I needed to contact the website (Radioshack.com) and have them mail me a physical invoice. They also said because my dispute was beyond the "90 day" (5 days over the initial date of rebate submission) statue of limitations for disputing a rebate that my rebate was now denied permanantly.
I spoke with their representative "Pedro" who does not have a employee identification number. I asked to speak to a manager who is Nikki Thomas who was not at work today. I was told to call back the next day at 10AM. I asked Pedro where in writing does it say I can't dispute this claim after 90 days. He did not know. I asked him for verification that there was notification that my second denial was sent to me. He did not know. I plan to file a complaint with the File a Complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Office, Miami-Dade County's Consumer Services Department, and the Texas Attorney General's Office.
I would caution all consumers to avoid products that process their rebates through Onrebate.com including Ultra power supply products.
