Failure to provide rebate funds when rebate was submitted according to the terms of the offe

A rebate form was submitted for a $20 rebate on a Seagate 320GB SATA Hard Drive purchased from GlobalComputer.com. The rebate form specified valid dates of 3/01 to 3/30. The order was placed on 3/02 and the rebate form was mailed with all required items within 30 days.

On April 21st, the customer receives a postcard stating that the rebate claim was invalid for the following reason: The purchase date on the sales receipt does not fall within the program dates.

This constitutes a failure to honor the terms of the offer since the purchase date did indeed fall within the program dates.
