Horrible customer service, bad equipment

From the beginning of signing up with this service a mere month ago, we have had nothing but problems.
Starting with the installation, the technicians were over an hour late and arrived at our home at 6:00pm on a Saturday to install cable TV and internet service. They ended up not being able to install the internet service because they had "two bad modems" on their truck, so that had to be delayed for another four days.
In the meantime, the dvr started malfuctioning and every few days will lose audio. I had to call repeatedly to get someone to reset it, without further help on why this was happening. When I finally got someone with more knowledge about this, I was told we had received a newer remote model than the cable box we received.
When I received my first bill, it was wrong, just as I knew it would be. The promotion we signed up for was for free dvr service for 3 months, but of course I was charged for it. For something that doesn't even work correctly. I was then told I had to take my cable box down to an office to replace it to solve the issues.
This experience has been so inconvenient and frustrating, that if I hadn't already invested so much time into this, we'd be signing up for satelite service immediately.
We were previously with Bright House Networks in Florida and I can only wish that company will expand to include South Carolina. Soon.
