Called stating we owed past due AT&T Wireless Bill

CCA called stating that they were a Collection Agency for AT&T and they wanted to collect a past due bill on a cell phone. They further stated they had sent bills in the amount of $92.65 and a letter to our address, concerning this matter. We have never recieved a letter or a bill from AT&T or CCA. The person stated that with processing fees the amount would be $100.15. My wife paid this on the phone using her bank debit card.

I called AT&T and told them that I had this phone suspended back in July and they confirmed that this phone was suspended and there were no outstanding debts against it. AT&T represetative called this company along with me on the line and asked them for an account number. They firnished this information and AT&T called me back on another line and said that this account # belonged to someone else, not us. My wife called CCA back and she spoke with a lady by the name of Janet and she checked on this and found no record in the computer of the payment. Our cell phone accounts with AT&T are on Auto Pay and if there was a charge owed by us it would have been taken out automaticly.
One big scam?
