I'm currently a Voice Stream customer. I got my phone and service in the last week of September.
Well after the first month and a/half, my wife said to me, why haven't we received a bill yet? Well, I called Voice Stream.
They said; they would send the bill, and it would be $81.00. Well 2 more week's went by and still no bill. I called again to make sure they had the address right.
It was, so I asked, whats the problem? They did'nt know. But they would send the bill again, right away. Now here it is December 21 and I finally got my "first bill" from Voice Stream (or so I thought it was).
I opened it, only to find a one page collection letter in the amount of $241.53 and not the $81.00 they had quoted me 3 times before.
Plus the letter stated that my bill was "one day" past due, they suspended my phone service due to Non Payment.
On the phone with them today, I asked; how can I pay my bill if I never got one nor had an address to send a payment too?
I never did get any answer's, they just beat around the bush's with me. "Yes", I think I made a bad choice by using "Voice Stream".
The people on tne phone were nothing but "Rude" and of no help to me or my bill problem.
They just wanted their money they said I now owed. I told them that when I get an itemized statment for the last two months, and I was able to make sure there were no over charges or any kind of rip off's, then I would pay the said "Bill" owed.
Voice Stream is for sure running a Bad Business, and they need to correct it. Fast (real fast). Then maybe by the time my phone statments get to me in the mail, they won't have cancelled my service and demand the $200.00 termination fee or turned it over to a collection agency.
Well, their company policy is "Bull Sh-t", and I will not stand for it or pay the so called penalty for their "Screw Up's"... Sincerly From, "Beware" (in South Alabama)!!!
