I purchased a Bose Wave Radio CD player from Jon Stanley via EBay. I paid him @315.01 via PayPal. The item did not offer shipping insurance. When it arrived it was packaged poorly and the CD player did not work. The seller (Mr. Stanley) had purchased insurance but told me he did not have the original postal insurance receipt. I took the radio to the post office and filed a claim with both them and with Paypal. The seller was very rude and was not going to pay me the money back. I spent much time on the phone with the post office in St Louis getting this taken care of. The never heard from the seller regarding the insurance receipt. He still denied that he had it. The post office decided to award judgement in my favor since he did not respond to them so they issued me a check. I then closed the paypal claim since i was paid by the Post Office. This is when the seller then produced the original insurance receipt to the post office. I had already received a check from the Post Office and cashed it. I received a note in the mail from my bank that the Post Office had returned my check and awarded the check to Jon Stanley. Since I had closed the original pay pal dispute I cannot re open it. I have talked to Paypal several times about this and they nicely asked the seller to pay me. He refuses. So, he was paid by me originally and now paid by the Post Office. He is a thief and a fraud. He will not return me my money. I want this money back. Thank you.
