We have been loyal Verizon Wireless customers for over 3 years now. Our phones began going dead on us for no reason. We thought it was bad batteries, but the Verizon people at this store told us it was due to an upgrade they are doing on the system here that is causing batteries to run down in 8-9 hours.
Our phones go dead after about an hour or less if we are using them. If we don't make any calls on them, they go dead in about 4 hours.
Verizon said they would compensate us $5.00 per month or 100 free minutes for our troubles. This is outrageous! It's all their fault, yet they force us to pay our bill when we can hardly use our phones.
I filed a complaint with the BBB, but nothing yet. All I want to do is terminate my contract without an early termination fee, but they refused to do that.
