Promotion #23836707 was to give me free installation, free HD reciever or DVR upgrade, free HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime for three months and a portable DVD player. I did receive free installation but that was all. I signed up for this service July 29. They installed the system Saturday August 4. I received a bill from Direct tv for $112.71 on August 14 and was told this amount must be paid by August 24. I have called and was told that a rebate would be put toward the bill and could call a number after 4 working days to get an updated bill. The bill stayed the same. I feel I was misled and taken advantage. I would go back to cable if I didn't fear all the other fees they would attach.
