Have not repaired my new compute

I purchased new computer (I think) from Gateway & 5 1/2 months later & still not fixed. Lost the sound drivers right after I received it. Spent many hr's on the phone with Gateway Tech's. The first try to fix it over the phone I loaded my operatering system & programs 7 times. Gateway said I would have to send it in to get it fixed, which I had to pay for. Got it back & shortly lost the sound drivers. Back on the phone with Gateway, they said its software problem, they said thats the way it will be, I will have to reload about once a month. Tech said its a Microsoft xp problem. I didn't think that was correct so I called Micrsoft, they said someone is pulling your leg. So I took it in to a computer co. To have checked out. They found bad motherboard, called Gateway they still insisted it was software, so I had the computer co. Call them & then they agreed it was hardware problem. Sent it back in with the paper work from the computer co. Which Gateway requisted so they could fix it, got it back & still not fixed same problem, called Gateway they check there records & said they were sorry that they didn't repl. Motherboard that I would have to send it back to them. Got it back & still not fixed. I think after 5 1/2 months I'm getting rip off. After sending it in 3 times & still not fixed I would like to get my money back, I don't think thats to much to ask for.
