Computer are the worst Gateway Gateway

I bought a gateway computer about 3 years ago for about $3000 because I thought I was buying longevity and quality. After 3-4 modems, 3-4 cd burners, a new hard drive and constant freezing and hours spent on the phone with techs, Gateway suggests that I need to send my computer in for a 2-3 week service repair.

I am a student doing online classes and explained to them that i could not do without a computer for that long, they claim that that was not their problem. I have had trouble with this computer since I got it and they keep sending me refurbished parts that keep going out.

I still owe $1700 on the piece of junk due to the high interest financing. I feel totally ripped off. I could refuse to pay the rest, but again, I would be the only one suffering, not the company. They do not want to send me a replacement or not even a loaner while my computer is being fixed, they just want to keep fixing this thing.

I do not keep anything on the hard drive that I want to keep because I have to reload the system every other month because it starts acting up about every other month. Customer service is terrible. The tech explained to me that it sounded like the mother board was going out and they would possibly send me a new computer, since I have had so much trouble, but customer service wants me to send it in and be without for another 2-3 weeks.

Where is the justice! I just want to pay this thing off and get another computer probably a Dell.
