I bought a hp pavilion, and the rebate was not honored. I sent off the paperwork to a "po box" (which cannot be sent via certified mail) over 3 (three) times and still was denied my rebate. Hp did honor theirs and rebated me the $100 as advertised. Best buy did not honor the $300 rebate and i did all that i could for 180 days, but was told they had never received any of it.
