Ripoff changed contract terms over charged nationwide

My phone broke in January. I had it over 4 years, liked the funcitons and had few dropped calls. I had changed plans a few times, per my contract I could change plans within the plan and not extend the contract nor change the terms.

When the phone broke, I went in to see if they could salvage the data on it, and per an add I received, I was eligible for a new phone. Only if I renewed the contract for 2 years, yet the terms of the contract would not be the same. Thus, it is NOT a renewal when all the terms change.

The data could not be salvaged, and they could not replace the phone without a 2 year extension.
I opted to replace the phone thru the insurance plan. Per my contract I had a 35.00 deductible. Without the contract changing in any way by me, the deductible was now $50.00. I was getting angry, frustrated that I would need to be without a phone for another 2 weeks while dealing with the insurance. I get teh new phne, and it is nothing like the old one. Also now I have dropped calls constantly.

I call to change my minutes within the plan, and behold, I discover 2 months later that they also again changed the plan, costing me almost 350.$00 in random charges!!!
Now I had spoken to a person in billing at least 2 x, and asked about the plan, was told nothing had changed.
Now months later, I changed the minutes back up to a more expensive plan, I discover that the they no longer honor the plan contract, and the changes within teh plan now constitute agreement to a new contract! Again, I said no, that the error weas in January. I did not change plans, only number of minutes for the billing. It should keep teh same roaming, same night and evening, same mobile to mobile. They refused to investigate, refused to honor the contract as orignated, even thugh I was on the same plan.

Definition of a contract needs to be addressed, and a contract is not subject to change without both parties agreeing, and the law should NOT allow implied contract changes by thees out of control companies!
Oh, and when I received my new phone, I then took it down to see if the data could transfer directly to it from the old phne I had four years or more, and to get the attenae on correctly, and they now want to charge me for the maintenance of their phone. I raised a stink, and they "waived" the charge! Wasn't that nice of them? Billing department said say they called me, yet I have NO messages on their system. Amazing, eh? I never answer numbers that are not in my area code unless I know who they are.

Needless to say, I will not be a customer of theirs for long. The reasons I went with them in the first place no longer exist: 1) less dropped calls, 2) flexible contract terms, and good customer service. Verizon, do you hear me now?
