I was slammed by MCI. I spent over 40 hours on the phone during 7 months trying to resolve problems with SPRINT, then filed a PUC report, and rec'd a response 1 year later saying the contacted Sprint and were told the problems were resolved!

Then I went to AT&T for their 7/7 plan. They billed me on my credit card AND my phone bill, for 9 months while I tried to get it straightened out, even calling the corporate office, which took hours to even find a number for, via internet, finally resorted to the public library info services. Now AT&T is cancelling the 7/7 and charging $14.95 for Internet after I was told it was a "for life of the customer using the service at 7/7".

I started looking at digitals, and got the "Free Phone with 1 yr" offer. I noted there is NO address included. So I switched on here and obviously saved myself a lot more grief.

When is someone going to rein these miserable companies, with their customer misservice in? When is, god forbib, congress going to get involved. This problem is so out of hand there is no help for anyone without a big stick coming down from somewhere. 60 minutes? 48 hours? Heeellllppppp us poor consumers.
