When we renewed our contract with T-Mobile we asked them to check an address for coverage and they did. They said that I would at least be able to roam and they were going to put a tower there in the next few months with these NEW phones.
I took my phone down to the place needing service and it said NO SERVICE. I tried doing a manual roam like suggested and it failed. I know Cingualar has GSM in this area, full service and I could'nt use it. I called back and the rep said, OOPS I guess we don't have any roaming agreements!
I tried to cancel but they would'nt let me so I contacted the BBB and they finaly let me cancel no charge.
Always double check with T-mobile before you sign up.
