Charged a cancelation fee even though I moved to a new house in an area with incredibly poor coverage

I moved to a new house in an area with extremely poor T-Mobile coverage. I had been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 12 years and currently had a family plan with three phones. T-Mobile charged me $300 ($100 per phone) to cancel my plan even though the plan was due to expire within 5 months.

The phones were almost always in an SOS zone within my house and around my block. We rarely even got 2 bars, and consistently experienced dropped calls and missed texts. I called T-Mobile technical support and spent around 4 hours on the phone over the course of two weeks troubleshooting the problem.

The technical support folks told me that other people in my neighborhood had complained of poor coverage, so T-Mobile would dispatch a team to the area to troubleshot the problem. The poor coverage problem did not get better.

After nealry a month, I wrote to T-Mobile requesting them to waive my cancelation fees so I could obtain cell service from another carrier. T-Mobile emailed me that the company would not waive the fees because their coverage map showed good coverage in my area.
