Ripoff Dishonest and fraudulent practices, Cramming

I relocated to Melbourne Florida over a year and a half. I was already a customer of T-Mobile from Virginia. I called to change my info and they told me to go to the Corporate store located at Melbourne Square mall because I qualified for a new phone. We ended up with 2 phone accounts and one Air Card internet account for my laptop but only received one new phone instead of 2 (one promised to replace my old one)

This was the first lie. They gave us all new numbers with what we thought was a local exchange because the area code was the same for all local phone numbers. We used our cell phones for business and for homephones and had no land line in our home. I ran numerous advertisements over the next year for my business in the local newspapers and wondered why I was getting little response.

I finally found out that the numbers they gave us was long distance for everyone in the local area we lived. I was never informed of this. I imediatly contacted customer service and they said the only thing they could do is change the numbers to a local exchange. I have many customers with my business number and could not just turn it off with no forwarding.

So I agreed to keep one long distance number. I also negotiated a small settlement (500.00) for the financial losses that incurred because of their negligence and a credit of $150.00. All without changing my contract experation date which was only a few months away (June) I ask the supervisor whom I was speaking with that in no way this would extend my contract because I was going to change my service at the end to another company. She also was going to call me back 3 days later and offer me a new plan with more minutes and 2 new phones if we renewed the contract.

I never received the call back and after 2 weeks called again and as for the supervisor giving their employee number. I was told they did not have any way of finding that person. So I explained the whole process and agreement. They had no record of the agreement and said that they showed only a small amount of minutes added to one account.

Over the next few months I talked with 3 or 4 people to try and straigten out the lies they had told me then I got my bill and noticed my contract had change from 800 to 1000 minutes and a one year extention to my contract (which I never agreed to). After 3 more conversations with so called supervisors I managed to cancel my expired contract and close all accounts and they would give me one month credit on both accounts. I never got the proper amount of credit and 2 months after closing the account I am still getting billed for payments made months ago.

Beware of this company they act like they are really going to help you by giving you a credit but what they are not telling people is they extend your contract without your knowledge, change your account and never follow thru with upgrades or what they promise. Giving me 3 long distance numbers and costing me thousands in lost sales is out right FRAUD
