At&t renewed my 2 yr contract without my authorization and tood away my phone upgrade eligibility

Dont do business with at&t... Leave them. Go metropcs or verizon. I hate at&t

I've been with AT&T for around 5 yrs and they don't have the slight appreciation for a customer... The best company I've dealt with was TMobile... Too bad AT&T now owns them..

My situations is this... Have the Iphone 3GS for longer than 2 yrs... When I moved from AZ to MA I called AT&T to change my number to my new area code which is 978 like 3 months ago, and I did not change the phone. Just the numbers. But before the changes I asked if this change would automatically renew my contract and I was told no. And if everything was going to rollover. And I was told yes. First I had to call back because my Avnet Discount and Rollover minutes werent' rolled over. Ok. They fix that.

Now my phone is broken and while I was checking online for an upgrade I realized my account shows Im a customer since June and that took my eligibility away to get a new iphone at the discounted price. Most likely I will be with AT&T for the next 2 yrs. But to renew my contract when I was told it wouldn't and take away my upgrade eligibility when I didn't get a new phone during the number change is unacceptable.

My case numbers are Cm20111104_30443624 and cm20111104_30443625 since I have 2 numbers.

Called back today and the cases are closed... AT&T will not change their decision, and I'll have to pay $288 to cancel my service for the 2 yr contract which again was renewed without my authorization. I will never do business with at&t again in my lifetime!!!
