I had purchased what I thought were Sony MicroVault 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drives and SanDisk 1GB Secure Digital Memory Cards for resale on eBay. People brought to my attention that Sony does not make a 4GB flash drive and after calling Sony myself and looking at their websites around the world I indeed found that Sony does not make such a product.
I opened one up and tested it as well. Testing showed it appears to be a 4GB drive, however, it absolutely does not transfer at USB 2.0 speeds, but rather at the 40 times slower speed of USB 1.1. I sent Export World International an email telling them I am aware of their fraudulent schemes and wanted my money back, but as expected received no response back. The Sony also has no model number or warrantly paper included in the box further signs of fraudulent merchandise.
Some auction winners of the SanDisk memory card have indicated the cards are 512MB and not the 1GB alleged. I am waiting for them to ship one back to me to verify their claims.
