The Sony tv may be fine, but their customer service is the worst. I purchased a TV at the end of November. It took 2 phone calls and about a month to receive it. I received it and it was defective. Called to get a new one - all they can send is a refurbished model and will not offer any compensation for it being refurbished. It is now the end of January and I have been waiting to receive the refurbished unit for over a month. Each call I make to Sony lasts about an hour and they just keep passing you from person to person! Don't buy directly from Sony - it is a headache.
