Shoppers of Fry's Electronics - Beware of their so called "Rebates"! They advertise items on sale with a rebate then when you fulfill your portion of claiming your rebate, they deny paying it... Only to indicate that you need to submit more informatin to claim the rebate. I followed their instructions to the letter, including completing the rebate form as instructed, submitting my "original" sales receipt and the UPC code and the serial number of the item and they claim they did not receive the UPC Code. The UPC code and the serial number was on the same sheet of paper. This rebate claim was for a laptop hard drive with a $50 rebate.
The second rebate was for a network card which was a $20 rebate that they claim we did not fill out our address on the rebate form. If that were the case, how did they know where to send the post card with the claim denial statement on it.
This is common practice of Fry's from others that I have talked to about their rebate experience with them. This is the last time we will patronize Fry's Electronics!
