I found Global Liquidators website at wholesale411. I contacted Global and talked to Derek Frasier, regarding electronics. He explained to me that they had two different types of electronic pallets, "off name brand" which included, boom boxes, vcr's, and small tvs, and "High End" (panasonic, bose, rca, sony, sharp ect) which included flat screen and plasma tv's, dvd recorders, video cameras, dvd video cameras, surround sound systems, ect.
He told me that they were all unopened goods with manufactures warranty, that they were just last years models that never sold ("brand new"). He said that they buy in such mass quanities from the manufactures there able to sell them to us for cheap. I told him that I would be interested in purchasing 1 pallet to start, and he told me that there was a 6 pallet min. Order, but since I was a first time costumer he could send me 4 pallets.
All I had to do was wire the money into there account and he would send me a tracking # within 4 days of the wire. I recieved an e-mail with a confirmation number on my order stating that I would be buying and receiving 4 ("high end electronic paletts").
I waited 1 1/2 weeks and received nothing, no tracking number no nothing. Finally after several phone calls, nearly 12 a day, I was finally able to talk to Derek again. I asked him where my tracking # was and he said that they had such terrible weather the drivers couldn't get there. I knew something was wrong, so I asked him if all the merchandise was fully insured until it reached me and he assured me that it was all insured and I would recieve everything in perfect working order, because the merchandise was all unopened.
2 weeks and about 350 phone calls later, I finally recieved a tracking # from the girl who answers the phone "Kim". The day I was supposed to receive the pallets I talked to Kim in the morning and she told me that I would be receiving my stuff but she said that the Roadway shipping company went through the pallets and stole and destroyed all the items, then rewrapped it. YEAH RIGHT She told me to get in touch with roadways insurance company and file a claim for the value of my merchandise.
I then called Roadway, went down to their terminal and looked at my lovely 4 pallets of broken used burnt microwaves, a couple of trashed crap boom boxes, and 2 used tv's in brown boxes with the words "good tv" handwritten on them. I was also told that each pallet would contain 50 to 70 items on it (Cameras are so small) I think there was maybe 15 total items. Oh yeah and my shipping was supposed to cost $500.00 per Derek and it was actually $2100.00. WHAT A DEAL HUH!!!
