My 60 year old father was looking for merchandise to sell on Ebay. He was contacted by Derek Frasier at Global Liquidators Closeouts & Auctioneers LLC who told him that all of their products were "brand new in the original box."
Derek Frasier told my father that he would ship him 22 pallets with 800 items of all new high-end electronics. At one point, I spoke to Derek and he told me the same thing. Derek said to me that all of the 800 items would be "factory sealed and ready to sell." He told me that we would not be dissapointed.
My father decided to purchase a 22 pallet truckload for $26,000. Derek informed us that the load would mostly consist of plasma screen TV's and Bose home theater systems.
After Derek recieved our money, we never heard from him again. From that point on the only contact I had was with the extremly rude receptionist named Kim Browne. Kim was obviously a part of the fraud, as she was very good at lying and covering for Derek. I caught her in lie after lie.
Apparently she is always the only person in the office and Derek is never there and no one else is there that I can speak with. I would call everyday almost 50 times a day and I only spoke to Derek one more time when he assured us that the truck would be shipping out that afternoon and that it was all brand new items.
The truck never shipped out, and Derek refused to take my calls. After 4 weeks and hundreds of phone calls to Kim Browne, the truck finally arrived.
The 22 pallets were suppose to have 800 items on them. There were only 120 items total on 22 pallets. The items were not even close to being new. Nothing was in the original box and most of the merchandise was broken. There were no TV's and no Bose Theater systems. It was nothing but a bunch of broken microwaves and radios that don't work.
My father is out $30,000 with the shipping cost, and Global Liquidators Closeouts & Auctioneers LLC will not take our calls. They refuse to speak to us and we are hoping to file a lawsuit against the company and Derek Frasier. This was part of my fathers life savings and it has been robbed from him
This was theft pure and simple. I know now that we are not the only victims that Derek Frasier has stolen from.
