I've had my Nextel for about two months now. From the start, when I try to make a call I get the message "Call Failed: All Circuits Busy". When friends, family, and business contacts try to call me they get a recorded message saying the same thing.
There have been times where I try to make calls on a consistent basis for up to four hours without being able to complete a call. This has put me in a very bad position as I use my phone for business. I've been stranded at the airport, unable to let clients know I've arrived on site, unable to schedule/reschedule meetings, and most importantly to me I've been unable to keep in touch with my family.
At best the problem occurs every other day with outages lasting more than one hour. This is from my side only and not including persons not being able to contact me. I talked to Customer Care about backing out of the contract and not expecting to be charged (as I feel they are providing faulty service). I was told I would still be charged $200 for backing out because the contract does not guarantee "reception"; however, this is not a reception issue.
If I am unable to make a call because they do not have the proper equipment to route all the calls in my area it is faulty service on their behalf. If there was no reception I would not be able to initiate the call to get the message. As of now I have been told to take my phone in to be looked at, but after two service tickets and at least four hours of time spent talking to them on the phone I'm not optimistic.
