Letters rubbing off the washing machine control panel

LG front load washing machine, model WM4270HWA: letters rubbing off the control panel.
Purchased 02/19 after replacement of a Dead On Arrival machine (S/N: 512PNKG3C885). New unit S/N: 510PNSV1T974. Letters rubbing off the control panel. I called customer service for repair, and the LG customer service rep declined the warranty.
LG does not stand behind its low-quality, cheap products.
