Friday Appliance Service was sent to our home by Best Buy to repair a Siemens Washing Machine under factory warranty. The machine was supposed to Auto-balance the load. It did not appeat the machine was auto-balancing. Friday Appliance Service came out to our home and never pulled a panel off of the machine. They talked to Siemens and then said that 1.) We were loading the machine incorrectly in spite of the fact that we had been loading it the same way for 6 months without problems and 2.) If it does get out of balance, we need to throw some towels in it.
Friday Appliance left, but the problem stayed. I phoned Siemens and they offered to send either Friday Appliance out or J & B Appliance out. I chose J&B. They came out and said that because the machine spins at 1200 RPM, the feet can work themselves up causing the machine to spin out of balance. The machine is working fine now that J&B Appliance figured out what the problem was rather than blaming us.
If Friday Appliance had done their job rather than blaming the customer, Siemens would not have incurred another service call charge.
This has also been reported to Siemens and the Better Business Bureau.
