Titan LED
Unethical practices

Titan LED and its owner Brian Hennessy have been involved in deceptive, fraudulent, and untruthful practices for quite some time now. For starters, they claim to be 100% USA manufactured LED bulbs yet they have been installing Chinese LED chips in them for a while now, all without alerting their clients to this, let alone their staff.

On top of this, they have had numerous installation complaints, numerous light failure complaints, numerous driver failure complaints, and even numerous rebate complaints from many clients which, to this day, still have yet to be rectified.

To make matters worse, they have ripped off installers of their pay and have even ripped off their own sales reps of commissions earned. They even had their own National Director, who was there since the company's inception, not only quit, but leave to start a new LED company once he realized everything that was transpiring without his knowledge.

Fair warning not to ever do business with a company that continuously allows this type of blatant fraudulent behavior!

The so called author of this hit piece “Eric R” is actually Leonardo Caruso aka, Robert Caruso, aka Rob Caruso, aka Robert Gaudreau, aka Antonio Caruso aka Rob Leonardo. Mr. Caruso voluntarily terminated his relationship with Titan Led in approximately December of 2015. Since terminating his relationship, Titan LED has discovered that Mr. Caruso fraudulently directed Nevada Energy to issue a rebate check in the amount of $7,047.00 owed to a customer to Mr. Caruso’s dba, “Spray Tan LA Spray Tan Hollywood, Inc." instead of the customer. Mr. Caruso then deposited the check and converted the funds to his own personal use. He admitted to engaging in this fraudulent conduct to the private investigator assigned by Nevada Energy to investigate the whereabouts of the check. Titan LED, Inc. has since filed a police report with the Simi Valley Police Department, report number 16-11220 and the matter is under review for felony prosecution. The hit piece from “EricR” was posted after Titan LED, Inc. confronted Mr. Caruso about this conduct and demanded that Mr. Caruso immediately remit to Titan LED, Inc. the proceeds he stole from its customer.

Titan LED, Inc. respectfully requests that any person considering the comments posted by “EricR” understand the context in which his message was posted. The absence of any other complaints posted on this website despite Titan LED Inc’s 6 years in business speaks volumes of the company’s integrity and honest business practices.

Re: Titan LED, Inc.
Dear Mr. Caruso:

I am in receipt of your email dated today.

I am writing to advise you that due to your conversion and fraudulent actions in diverting proceeds due Titan LED, Inc. from Nevada Energy in the sum of $7,047., any commissions that would otherwise have been earned by you have been forfeited. We have been advised by Mark T. Darden, Head Of Section, Program Development and Implementation, Sustainable Energy Use DNV GL - Energy, who conducted an investigation into the conversion of these funds, that you admitted to receiving and cashing the incentive check during a conversation he had with you on February 17, 2016.

We have also been advised that you falsely represented to a customer that the customer would be receiving Titan LED products when in fact you actually delivered products to this customer that were manufactured in China.

Demand is hereby made upon you to remit the sum of $7,047. to Titan LED, Inc. within 5 days from the date of this letter. If payment is not received by Titan, LED, Inc., we will proceed with an action against you seeking the monies that you converted to your personal use as well as punitive damages, attorney fees and costs.

If you communicate in any manner with any employee or officer of Titan LED, Inc., we will seek a restraining order against you to enjoin any further harassment and abuse that you have subjected these people to over the past few months.
