LG Microwave service - LG Microwave LMVM2085ST

I had an over-the-range microwave (LMVM2085ST) that completely stopped working after less than 2 years. After paying the nearly $100 just to get a service technician to look at it, I ended up paying $286 to have a new control panel. Everything tested okay (except the exhaust fan—my fault for not checking that before the tech left). Multiple calls to LG to have someone look at that or to return only the control panel part resulted in nothing. My only option was to pay another $100 to have another tech come look at it. I finally talked to a manager who said that LG would mail me a form to complete and that would be reviewed for possible resolution. I never received the form; follow up calls resulted in lack of any knowledge about any such form or process. I ended up selling the home and bought a new microwave. This is not the first problem I've had with LG products; I will never buy another LG product again!
