I purchased a GE Microwave range from Home Depot, I bought it in Sept and it was installed in my new Kitchen in November. Its just my wife and I and we didn't even use it that much the model number is HVM1750SPSS and it will not heat anymore. We called GE and they sent someone out and they said the magnetron needed to be replaced and wants to charge me 103.42. I feel that I should not have to pay anything, I spent 3000.00 on all stainless steel appliances and for the microwave to go out this soon is not right. I received as a gift a Sharp brand microwave in 1995 with a manufacturing date of March of 1994 and it is still going strong and for my new GE to go out in 15 months is just wrong. I sent a similar email to a woman who was handling my complaint named Kelsey in Consumer Relations a week ago and she never responded.
