Microsoft technical support might be a misnomer.in order to resolve an Outlook issue in which I was unable to send emails, I was directed to a website that required a logon that was different from my outlook email address and the original password that was set up on the administrator account would not allow me to access my administrator account for Microsoft 365. The technical support representative did help me resolve the issue, but his poor command of the English language took twice as long to do so. Then after resetting the password, he advised me that he had to transfer me to the Exchange support team - I held for about 10 minutes before I got a native English speaker. But all he could do was advise me that since I am a Microsoft 365 subscriber that he would transfer me to a specific support team for subscribers. After holding for 30 minutes and listening to music that may have been used in a POW camp as torture, I finally hung up. Two hours later I received an email from a representative with an Indian surname advising me that he worked 24X7 and I could contact them at any time. No THANK YOU.

I will cancel my Microsoft 365 subscription and get the problem resolved with the Geek Squad - they speak English and answer the phone by the second ring with no long wait times. Microsoft is now on my list of the worst customer service along with AT&T and American Airlines. Whatever happened to customer service?
