I have been to several other guitar shops and Guitar Center is a really good store, but it feels tense once you step into the store. My first guitar was a Jackson DKXT that was priced at $450, but I bought it at Guitar Center for $380 with the 2yr coverage. A few months later I sent it for repairs because of a high pitch buzz that it created when I would plug it in. They sent it back about a week later with it working good as new, polished, and the fretboard cleaned. My second guitar is an Ibanez RG5EX1, which was priced at $400, but I got it for $313 with coverage. It took about two weeks to get that one back, but there was a hurricane going on at the time. Just recently, took my Jackson into the store for a truss rod adjustment and bridge leveling (clueless when it comes to that) and the guy working repair said that it would be ready in a few weeks due to the many other guitars that needed repairs and that it wouldn't be fair. I understood, but I had another repairman said he would do it in less than an hour so I emailed him and had my guitar back in two days. Overall, I guess it depends on the location of the Guitar Center.
