I've spend thousands of dollars at Bestbuy over the years and starting last year I'm growing very dismayed at their customer service and attitude toward buyers. I'd been planning on buying a refidgerator, computer and vacuum at Bestbuy but I'd bought a PSVita for my special needs son for Christmas, though he pampered the game system, it kept freezing on him and finally did not turn on at all—I'd bought a two year extended warrentee on the system and went to return the defective game but the service person at Bestbuy took one look at my son and became hostile and bias—once it was obvious the system did not work she took it back to the back room and let us cool our heals for quite some time then advised us that our son dropped the game and broke it thus voiding the contract—this was an unfounded and mean accusation—the game was pristine and barely a month old—when he played it either me or his care taker was with him and he did not even come close to dropping the game, but my credibility and my son's was rudely dismissed. It seems that that protection and replacement package I purchase for two years had been altered from the many previous extended warrentees I'd purchased, though when I ask the cashier at the point of sale I was told it was the same, so that it was automatically voided if a person in a back room fed info from a biased service person could determine with no obvious damage that my son dropped his game system, and I was deemed dishonest when I asserted that it was not dropped. I'm really saddened by this! But my son learned a valuable lesson: do not trust Bestbuy! Corporate greed trumps civility and honesty!
