I bought a 57' hitachi tv that makes the top of the screen seem distorted. Well several technician visits later I still have this very expensive hd tv that seems distorted. I've spoken to the mgr of the store RUSS NORMAN and it appears all he can do is apoligize and say he will email the service dept and the district manager TRACY YOUNG call me. But I guess he has others customer problems to deal with because I have yet a week later to receive a call from him.
I'm going to the better business bureau and also will be taking them to small claims court. The technician even called one day and told me he would come by twice and never showed up. When I spoke to russ norman (mgr) and called the tech on the telephone and left a message which was never returned. I would strongly urge any thinking they will save money by going to this store to pay and go to either best buy or fry's. It's a real shame when I have lost time from work and not to mention the fact that I can't even enjoy my t.V.
P.S. I had also purchased the "5 yr projection tv warranty" ($400) and you see how much that has helped!
