A case of Worst Customer Service - 300 DISC CD MASS CHANGER and DENON AVR1513

I took my wife to the electronic section at Best Buy to buy her a stereo system for Christmas. When we arrived we found no one to wait on us. I didn't think our shopping would take long because the department was completely empty and when we did find a salesperson we would be waited on immediately. I was pleased to find there was no crowd. We finally nabbed a man who looked like a salesman but he told us he didn't work in that department but that he would find someone to wait on us. Finally, a young person asked us what we were looking for. I told him what we wanted to look at and with a broad wave of his hand he showed us what Best Buy had to offer. He didn't bother to hide the contempt he held for 'old folk' (I'm over 80 and my wife is totally blind). I asked for a demo and he said he didn't have anything set up for demo's. When I found what looked interesting (as interesting as it can be when it's not plugged in or turned on) I asked the salesman what the THD was; he didn't know. I asked what the receiver sensitivity was; he didn't know and obviously didn't care. He didn't bother hiding the fact he wasn't interested in waiting on us so I told him we would take the CD changer and receiver hoping that I would find the technical data inside the box. He loaded both units on a 'flat bed cart' (I'm not familiar with the name but it's larger than a shopping cart), motioned to the handle and said, "take this to the cashier." I really would have appreciated his calling for someone else to lug it to the cashier but the last thing I wanted at the time was to burden him further with us 'oldies.' I couldn't help but wonder if he knew the cart continually pulled to the left all the way to the chedk-out counter; I would like to think he didn't.
I don't make it a habit of complaining but this was one case where I didn't mind going out of my way. Perhaps I'm spoiled to being waited on at west coast stores such as Fry's electronics in San Jose; but then I'm not insensitive to obvious rudeness.
