I was in desprite need for a credit card about to go on vacation. I found Consumer Capital on line and applied. They called and told me for $279 I can receive a credit card with no APRS or any type of percentages. This was a one time fee and the card would be sent in a few days.
Well it was time for vacation and no credit card. I called and called sometimes a answer and sometimes a recording. They told me it was on it's way and it takes at least 4-6 weeks. This is after they told me a few days. So a few weeks later a packaged box came with nothing but papers, a build your credit book and a computer cd. One paper had 2 different credit card numbers on it.
I called Consumer Capital and they said I have to call and activate the credit card. None of this was told to me initatly. I told them I wanted my $279 back or I was reporting them. I called one of the numbers to see what they would say. I was told they had nothing to do with Consumer Capital Services and you did not have to give any money for there credit card.
At this point I was furious and called Consumer Capital again. They said the computer was down and couldn't tell me any information on my account. I can get my money back withn 2 weeks if I sent the Kit back. I sent it back and I'm still waiting on my money.
